How to solve the mosaic phenomenon in full color LED displays?

The phenomenon of "mosaic" in full color LED display screens has always been a problem that troubles LED display screen manufacturers. Its manifestation is the inconsistency in the brightness of the display surface in different regions. From the perspective of the phenomenon, the "mosaic" phenomenon of LED display screens is manifested as poor brightness of the display surface, that is, poor uniformity. The poor uniformity of LED display screens includes two aspects: poor brightness uniformity and poor chromaticity uniformity. Poor uniformity and the appearance of "speckle" or "mosaic" phenomena will seriously affect the viewing effect of the image. The fundamental cause of mosaic production is the consistency defects of the lamp tube itself and its use.

一、What is the LED advertising screen mosaic phenomenon?

LED module is a product composed of LED (light emitting diode) arranged together according to certain rules and then packaged, combined with some waterproof treatment, which is called LED module. The main view surface of the quadrilateral module can have a decorative structure for blurring the boundary of module splicing. By utilizing the straightness of vision, the human eye cannot simultaneously consider the two misaligned lines when scanning from top to bottom (or moving in the left and right directions), which inevitably forms countless misaligned discontinuous short line segments, thus completely eliminating the mosaic phenomenon of LED display screens caused by gaps between modules.

LED modules are widely used in LED products, and there are also significant differences in structure and electronics. Simply put, a circuit board and housing containing LED are used to form an LED module. For complex ones, some controls, constant current sources, and related heat dissipation treatments are added to improve LED lifespan and luminous intensity.

二、How to solve the "mosaic" problem of LED display screens?

Use the same batch of red, green, and blue LED lights on each LED display screen manufacturer, and re classify the red, green, and blue lights of this batch. The constant current devices are divided into five grades, and the constant current sources of each grade are evenly distributed to the whole screen for LED unit board production. The standard production fixture is used to ensure that the LED lights are in the same balanced position in the same module.

Control the mold manufacturing process to ensure that all LED lights in the module are horizontal, up and down, and there is no abnormal deviation in the front and rear. After gluing, secure the lamp with a standard front cover. Each LED unit board undergoes single module brightness adjustment, i.e. white balance fine adjustment, to ensure uniform white balance between modules.

Assemble the module into a box. The box body adopts a steel plate reinforcement structure and is reinforced at appropriate positions. Ensure the rigidity and flatness of the box surface. The box is stamped and bent using CNC equipment for one-time forming, and a CNC punch machine is used to ensure the accuracy of module installation in place. And there is appropriate margin to eliminate cumulative errors.
